Goddess Portraits & a Night of YaYa- a Women’s Empowerment Event of Healing & Community

Have you ever wished deep down that you could let your guard down and, dare I say, be documented in that beautifully real state? Do you ever catch glimpses of your own radiance and then quickly talk yourself out of showing up in the world the way you truly want to? Do you ever see photos of others and think, “I wish I was photogenic like them!”? I see you, love. And, I’ve got you. Nearly a decade ago, I created Goddess photo sessions with the sole purpose of helping women like you (and me), see the divinity within themselves.

Imagine after your photoshoot, sitting down to a hot cup of coffee in your favorite comfy chair, and while scrolling through Pinterest on your phone you see the notification “Your Gallery Is Ready”. You open your custom gallery, bursting with gorgeous images of YOU, heart pounding. In that glowing moment, as your scroll through image after image, you realize you’re not just photogenic…you’re a badass GODDESS. You exhale a huge sigh of relief, realizing that those glimmers of radiance you’ve felt over the years have been true all along. With a soft smile, you settle into the knowing that you are whole, you are worthy, you are divine.

When I met Monica years ago, I knew instantly that we’d create beautiful things together. From the beginning, our conversations centered on “what ifs” and “how do we make this creative thing happen”. We leave voice notes for each other about life, challenges, and always ALWAYS our next big dreams. On some very exciting occasions, our creative work overlaps into soulful collaborations. Creating Goddess portraits of her guests at her Nights of YaYa events have been one of these!

Last summer, with a silky pastel drape & jewel-green scenery as our backdrop, I set up a spot to meet the ladies. With only a few moments to connect with each of these goddesses, creating moments of motion and documenting the beautifully undone moments in-between was an exciting challenge.
